Been a software retailer for the past 1 yr + now and really want to
get some feedback on the use of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 in Nigeria( Cos thats my favourite and want to get your opinion)

KIS 2012 is the best antivirus on the internet.It scans all local drives and the internet.When you want to install any program,it asks you if you trusted.
ReplyDeleteThe application interface is very attractive.It gives room for automatic and manual updating.
Kaspersky support service is also very efficient.I have used this service before to resolve a problem in just 2 days.
Unfortunately kaspersky servers are very slow so it is important you update on daily basis to prevent accumulation of updates which may take forever to update.
The KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY 2011 software is a relatively good software for online security,malwares as well as phishing. It is tough and efficient and loads faster (on my own os). It works for both windows and linux operating system. But it has some minor defects and cons:
ReplyDelete(1) It has no link scanner for search engine utility.
(2) It fails in it's malware removal tests.
(3) It anti-spam feature allowed many spam messages.
(4) Performed poorly in ati-phishing test.
(5) It has no online back-up.
Nd lastly
(6) Could use PC optimization.
Even though with all these defects, it performs it main function and as for now, i can't really say for the 2012 version. It pretty expensive also, lol.

Some other alternative ti KIS base on my past experience of using them are just two.
(1) The first is MICROSOFT ESSENTIALS from the stable of MICROSOFT INC. These software is the best alternative to KOS.
(2) The second on is AVIRA AVG. Also a good alternative but over-all, i still prefer KAPSERSKY INTERNET SECURITY only if the price can drop down a little bit. My honest opinion though.
